There is something special about the Christmas season. It brings people together in a way that feels warm, generous, and full of heart. For our Friends of the Disabled Society (FDS) family, this year’s Christmas celebration was made even more meaningful thanks to the kindness and support of many wonderful partners and friends.

Before the celebration even began, the festive spirit was already alive behind the scenes. Our friends at S&P Global stepped forward to sponsor and lovingly wrap the lucky draw gifts for our members.
On 11 November, their office transformed into a cheerful workshop of red and green, ribbons and wrapping paper. Volunteers gathered with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of festive cheer as they carefully wrapped each gift. What could have been a simple task became a joyful moment of giving.
Every present was wrapped with care, knowing it would soon bring excitement and happiness to one of our members during the celebration.
Their generosity and enthusiasm set the tone for the festive season. It was a beautiful reminder that community is built not only through big gestures, but through small acts of kindness done with heart.

On 20 November, our members gathered for a magical Christmas celebration at Ibis Styles Singapore on MacPherson.
The luncheon was generously organised and sponsored by our wonderful hosts at ibis Styles, who welcomed everyone with warmth and hospitality. The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and the unmistakable feeling of being part of something joyful and inclusive.
The delicious meal was enjoyed by all, but more importantly, the day was about connection — friends catching up, stories being shared, and the simple joy of celebrating together.
For many of our members, Christmas at ibis Styles has become a beloved tradition that they eagerly look forward to every year.

We were also incredibly fortunate to have Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa sponsor the Grand Prize. Their generous contribution added an extra sparkle to the celebration and made the lucky draw even more special.
