On 23 November, the festive spirit was alive and shining as Friends of the Disabled Society (FDS) came together for a heartwarming Christmas celebration at Ibis Styles Singapore on MacPherson! For FDS, Christmas wouldn’t be the same without Ms. Shamila, who has been the heart and soul of our celebrations for years. She was the one who first started sponsoring and hosting our Christmas gatherings, bringing warmth, excitement, and a lively energy that made every event unforgettable. To us, she is truly the “Mother of Christmas” at FDS.
Although she has since moved on to a new position in Vietnam, her dedication to FDS never wavered. This year, she made a special trip back just to host our Christmas party—a testament to her deep bond with our members. With her signature warmth and enthusiasm, she filled the room with festive cheer, ensuring that everyone felt welcomed and celebrated. Her presence was a beautiful reminder that true generosity knows no boundaries.
