A Heartwarming FDS Mid-Autumn Celebration with NTU RSPPC

Lantern decorating at FDS Mid-Autumn celebration

There is something quietly special about Mid-Autumn celebrations. At Friends of the Disabled Society (FDS), our Mid-Autumn celebration with NTU Welfare Services Club RSPPC was a beautiful reminder to slow down, sit together, and enjoy simple moments that feel warm and familiar.
Over the weekend, we celebrated Mid Autumn with our friends from NTU Welfare Services Club RSPPC, who not only sponsored but also thoughtfully organised this heartwarming gathering. From start to finish, the day felt easy, welcoming, and filled with genuine connection.

An afternoon learning fan making
We spent the afternoon laughing and chatting over comforting favourites like kaya toast, soft boiled eggs, and kopi. The space buzzed with conversation as everyone caught up, shared stories, and enjoyed being together without any rush.
The fun continued with hands on activities that brought out creativity and playfulness in everyone. Lantern decorating and fan making filled the tables with colour, while lighthearted games got us moving, stretching our legs, and laughing at ourselves. These small shared moments turned into memories we know many will carry home.

Getting active with exciting games

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to BreadTalk IHQ for hosting us at their IHQ outlet and for the delicious tau sar piah that added a lovely traditional touch to the celebration. Our sincere thanks as well to Imperial Treasure for their generous donation of mini mooncakes, which truly sweetened the day and brought smiles all around.
