We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the volunteers and members who participated in our Flag Day on August 31st. Your dedication and enthusiasm helped us raise $15,145.50 to support our programs for individuals with disabilities. Whether you were a flag seller, companion, or behind-the-scenes support, your contributions made the day a huge success. Special thanks to our flag sellers who spread awareness and to the volunteers who guided our members. Together, we made an incredible impact!
Our Online Flag Day Campaign Continues!
Although our in-person Flag Day has ended, our online Flag Day campaign continues until November 31st! Every donation made through our online platform will be matched dollar-for-dollar by Tote Board. This is a fantastic opportunity to double your impact and help us continue empowering individuals with disabilities.

A Memorable Luncheon at Kampung Senang’s 25th Anniversary
On September 14th, we had the pleasure of attending Kampung Senang’s 25th Anniversary Lunch at the SAFRA Toa Payoh Jubilee Garden Restaurant. Thirty-nine of our members enjoyed a joyful afternoon filled with delicious food and meaningful connections, in celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
This special event not only honored our members for their contributions during Flag Day but also fostered a sense of community and appreciation. The atmosphere was lively with laughter, and the hospitality extended by Kampung Senang made the day truly memorable.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Kampung Senang for this invaluable opportunity to celebrate and connect.

August National Day Celebrations
August was a month of vibrant and joyful National Day celebrations!
Gardens by the Bay Outing: Our beneficiaries had an unforgettable experience exploring the stunning Flower Dome and savoring a delightful dinner at Jurassic Nest. The day was filled with laughter and wonder, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated volunteers who made this outing truly memorable!
Punggol Fields Celebration: Residents of Punggol joined us in a festive celebration, channeling their creativity into making beautiful mosaic fridge magnets. This engaging activity not only marked National Day but also brought the community together in a fun and artistic way.
Accessible Beach Experience at Siloso Beach
We are excited to share that our members had a fantastic trial run with the newly installed accessible beach track at Siloso Beach! The addition of this thoughtful infrastructure allowed our members to enjoy the sun, sand, and sea in a more accessible and inclusive way. One of our younger members, who uses a stroller due to a rare genetic disorder and autism spectrum disorder, was thrilled to experience the beach wheelchair for the first time. Rolling across the sand and dipping her feet into the sea brought her immense joy and created a memorable moment for everyone present. Seeing her excitement and the smiles on her family’s faces was truly heartwarming.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who contributed to making this experience possible. Your efforts in creating accessible and inclusive spaces are deeply appreciated and make a significant difference in the lives of those we support. This new beach track not only enhances accessibility but also fosters a greater sense of inclusion and enjoyment for all. We look forward to many more moments like these, where our members can fully engage with and enjoy their surroundings. Thank you for your continued support in helping us create a more inclusive community!
