On Wednesday, 3 December 2025, FDS will hold its annual Flag Day — themed “Small Change, Big Hope.” The message is simple but powerful: even a coin dropped in kindness can become a seed of transformation for someone who truly needs it.
Why We Do This
Founded in 2000, FDS is a registered charity that supports adults living with physical, intellectual, and multiple disabilities. Many of our members face lifelong barriers to employment, education, and independence. Through our programmes, we help them find purpose, build confidence, and connect with the community that believes in them.
Funds raised through Flag Day go directly towards sustaining our free programmes:

Skills & Entrepreneurship Programme (SEP): where members learn crafts and art skills, producing handmade creations sold under our Artful Ability brand.

Social Interaction Programme (SIP): fostering friendships, communication, and mental wellness through group activities.

Home Visitation Programme (HVP): bringing care, groceries, and companionship to members who are home-bound or living alone.
Each donation fuels hope — nurturing skills, friendships, and compassion that help our members live with dignity and pride.
