Some days do not simply pass through the calendar. They stay with you.
The Purple Parade 2025 was one of those days. A day filled with colour courage and a deep sense of togetherness that reminded us why we keep showing up year after year.
This year our FDS family turned up in numbers that made us pause and smile. We had twice the number of participants compared to last year. More faces more laughter and more purple moving as one. The energy was infectious and the atmosphere was full of joy pride and belonging.

We were incredibly thankful to march alongside our friends from NTU Welfare Services Club who went beyond walking with us. They prepared thoughtful care packs for our members and their kindness touched many hearts that day.

A heartfelt thank you as well to Fergus Consultancy Group and all our community volunteers who joined us. Your presence support and encouragement helped our FDS contingent stand out and shine in a sea of purple.
Our contingent number this year was 54 and that felt especially meaningful. In Cantonese 54 sounds like mmh sei 唔死 which means never say die. That phrase captures the spirit of our members so perfectly. Their perseverance courage and determination continue to inspire us. No matter the challenges they face they keep going and they never give up.
The Purple Parade 2025 was a powerful reminder that inclusion is not quiet. It is visible it is strong and it is built together. When we stand side by side we send a clear message that everyone belongs and every voice matters.

Here is to standing strong together for inclusion resilience and the unbreakable FDS spirit 💜
